Red, white and blue

A new month and a new challenge at Less is More - this week it is a colour challenge, and the colours are Red, White and Blue - in recognition of the 4th July - Independence Day in the USA.

This week I have been making several cards for Fathers' Day, which we celebrate in September here in Australia, but I have been making them early to give to my daughter, for her two girls'  school fete in August, to help raise money for their school.

This is one of the cards I made, which just happened to be in Red, White and Blue!  It is a 4" x 4" square card, the sail boat die is by Poppy Stamps, and the frame is cut with Lil' Inker stitched squares.  The sentiment is from the Stampin' Up! set called Crazy About You stamped in Versafine Onyx Black.  Very simple, and very CAS I thought!

How wonderful to be making these for your grandchildren's fete. Bet your cards do well at their fete.
