A new year calls for getting all your ducks in a row

 Well, for me, that doesn't really mean ducks, but chickens!  Challenge number 435 at Less is More, is 'All in a Row - and I have chosen the older stamp from Stampin' Up! called Hey, chick!


I needed to have one chick reversed, so stamped it onto a silicon mat and pressed it into position.  Voila!



I'm looking forward to the new set which has a super chicken flat out or flying!

    Happy New Year! What a great card. Love how you reversed the image, haven't tried that with a silicon sheet before. On my todo list now! I don't have these chickens thinking of adding them to my stash!

Wonderful News

The challenge at LIM this week is to use washi - how lucky for me that yesterday I tried CASEing a card I saw on Etsy which used a single wooden button on a small notecard.  I didn't use a wooden button, but a die I've had for ages, with WASHI on cardstock - - woo hoo! So I'm ready early today - Sunday morning here in Australia, with temps in the 30s! Cardstock cut 18cm x 9cm for a top fold 9 x 9cm (3.5" x 3.5") Stamp is a freebie from Cardmaking and Papercraft Issue 165 - love the fonts Die is by Simon Says Stamp - Partial Cut Flowers Button die is a set of 3 by Joy! Crafts Washi - unknown origin but printed cloth tape about 1.5 inches wide Below are a couple more cards I made using washi.
