Faeries

It's been a while, but here I am back again, as I have gone fairy (faerie) mad! For the Scrapbook Boutique's blog today, I have a card featuring a fairy, and I thought I'd post more of my faerie creations here on my blog - you may find something to inspire you to create with this small die - it is The Graceful Faerie by Memory Box! For my first card, I began with watercolour card and Ken Oliver's Color Burst pigment powders. If you haven't tried these before, you are in for an amazing experience! You simply sprinkle the concentrated powder onto your watercolour card (or you can wet the card first, then sprinkle, but I do prefer the first method). If you start with dry card, then spritz with water and watch the magic! Your colours will explode and run all over the card - the resulting patterns are what makes this technique such fun! I thought of these faeries as dancing in the night sky, so masked out a moon, before colouring the card, then removed...
