Splatters

This week, the Less is More challenge is a one-layer card with Splatters!  What fun!

So here is my card -

A very CAS one for me, but I just love the difference the large script Hello has made to it.  Inks and splats are by Stampin' Up! and the butterflies are from SU Butterfly Basics.  That special hello is by WPlus9 stamped in Versafine Black Ink.  I feel I'll add a small 3D butterfly before I'm finished with this card, but for the LIM challenge, I'm doing my best to keep it CAS lol!

    Great. I didn't notice the lacy butterflies until I read the blog and I have that stamp! They blend so well with the pink splatters.

Scrapbook Boutique May Blog Hop and Challenge

Welcome to another blog hop and challenge at Scrapbook Boutique - this month it is based on this amazing mood board! You should have arrived here from  Angela's  lovely blog. What a beautiful collection of images, celebrating motherhood, new babies and all things girly! I just love to make 'new baby' cards, and was inspired by the little ballet shoes and dress to embellish my card with the tulle ribbon.  I also loved the metallic letters, but thought silver was a softer option than gold with pink, so kept to the silver dots on my pattern paper, as well as the silver twine.  I created my own background with a little strip of hearts from a Lawn Fawn set called Into the Woods.  Now for a close-up, to catch that sparkle!
