Less is More challenge #362

Less is More is back for the new year, with a new twist - their challenges will now run for two weeks, rather than one!  Yay!  Slower people like myself will now have no excuse to join in - so I'm here for the first one of the year - a colour challenge and it is Purples!


Recipe:  Distress Oxides and Distress Inks sponged on panel of SU shimmer white card
Stamps:  SU Blooms and Wishes for panel and a retired SU set called Simply Sketched for the sentiment.
Die:  MFT zig zag border

Scrapbook Boutique October blog hop and challenge

Wow!  Where has the year gone already?  We will soon be caught up with the 'busyness' of Christmas, summer and holidays no doubt, so I'm happy to welcome you to this month's Blog Hop and Challenge at Scrapbook Boutique - let's have fun while we can! You should have arrived here from  Angela's  amazing blog but if you didn't and want to start at the beginning, just click on the SBB blog link above and start again!   Here is this month's gorgeous mood board, to inspire you!  It may be the butterflies, the colours, the designs - whatever takes your fancy!  I love using butterflies in my cards, so I was very happy with this challenge!  I was inspired by the idea of drifts of butterflies and those lovely pink colours! Scrapbook Boutique May Blog Hop and Challenge

Welcome to another blog hop and challenge at Scrapbook Boutique - this month it is based on this amazing mood board! You should have arrived here from  Angela's  lovely blog. What a beautiful collection of images, celebrating motherhood, new babies and all things girly! I just love to make 'new baby' cards, and was inspired by the little ballet shoes and dress to embellish my card with the tulle ribbon.  I also loved the metallic letters, but thought silver was a softer option than gold with pink, so kept to the silver dots on my pattern paper, as well as the silver twine.  I created my own background with a little strip of hearts from a Lawn Fawn set called Into the Woods.  Now for a close-up, to catch that sparkle!
