2019 Christmas cards

It's already near the end of the year, and I'm back again (Dame Nellie Melba??) with a few cards I've been making.  I'm not yet showing the more personal cards as they haven't been sent but these are the 'fun' cards I've enjoyed making.

The hole in the wall is popular this year, and I used last year's Santa already stamped and coloured to place in that wall.

Wonderful News

The challenge at LIM this week is to use washi - how lucky for me that yesterday I tried CASEing a card I saw on Etsy which used a single wooden button on a small notecard.  I didn't use a wooden button, but a die I've had for ages, with WASHI on cardstock - - woo hoo! So I'm ready early today - Sunday morning here in Australia, with temps in the 30s! Cardstock cut 18cm x 9cm for a top fold 9 x 9cm (3.5" x 3.5") Stamp is a freebie from Cardmaking and Papercraft Issue 165 - love the fonts Die is by Simon Says Stamp - Partial Cut Flowers Button die is a set of 3 by Joy! Crafts Washi - unknown origin but printed cloth tape about 1.5 inches wide Below are a couple more cards I made using washi.
