Baby cards

I have been on a 'bender' recently, making some cute baby cards, and today I have continued that trend with even more!  On this post  you will find one of the elephant cards that I had made for a commission, and using this stamp, I made several more with the paper piecing technique.  Each one was different, and all very cute!  Today I decided to colour the stamped image instead, and this is the result.

It is such a different look to my previous card (below) and by adding the sentiment 'sweet boy', I felt it could be used for a young child, as well as a new baby.

Well, my baby cards didn't stop there - with a new die in my possession, called Baby Onesie from
MFT, I created four more cards - two bright and crisp and two with a softer feel.  Now, are there any newborns out there that a need a welcoming card? Let me know what you think of my efforts, if you visit - I love to hear from you!

Wonderful News

The challenge at LIM this week is to use washi - how lucky for me that yesterday I tried CASEing a card I saw on Etsy which used a single wooden button on a small notecard.  I didn't use a wooden button, but a die I've had for ages, with WASHI on cardstock - - woo hoo! So I'm ready early today - Sunday morning here in Australia, with temps in the 30s! Cardstock cut 18cm x 9cm for a top fold 9 x 9cm (3.5" x 3.5") Stamp is a freebie from Cardmaking and Papercraft Issue 165 - love the fonts Die is by Simon Says Stamp - Partial Cut Flowers Button die is a set of 3 by Joy! Crafts Washi - unknown origin but printed cloth tape about 1.5 inches wide Below are a couple more cards I made using washi.
