Happy Mothers Day
Just a very quick post to wish mothers everywhere a very Happy Mothers Day! I have made cards for my two daughters and daughter-in-law, each one of them loving mothers to their families - and hope they enjoy their special day. Here is one of those cards:
I have used Peony bouquet by Altenew for the stamp, which is a 3-4 step process. I used one of the layers as a soft background panel, and used 3 layers for the flower. I took advice from Therese (not given to me personally of course, but on a video tutorial - linked here ) and stamped the solid colour first, then the detail layer and then I could add the shading layer much more easily. Thank you Therese for all your great hints! I'm still using limited supplies, so made the most of the inks I had - a mixture of pink and red here.
