Sending warm hugs

On the Scrapbook Boutique blog today, I have a very bright and cheery card using the Altenew stamp set Painted Flowers.  Over here, I have a more subdued card, but I'm using the same stamp set, but I encourage you to pop over to the SBB blog to see my bolder and bigger version!

These flowers are a 3-step process (Altenew's latest release has 6-steps - a challenge for me but the results look amazing!).  Once you get used to how to layer the three stamps related to each flower - my tip here is to use a marker to draw around all the elements of one flower or leaf on your storage sheet - you can have a lot of fun coming up with various colour schemes.

I don't own the matching dies, but it's not really difficult to fussy cut these out - the dies would be very useful though - hint hint!

Thanks for looking in - hope to see you again soon!

  1. Awesome card Ann, loving the layers and your fussy cutting is great. I am not so good with the fussy cutting so only do it when I really have to :)

    1. Thanks so much Lyn - and it's great to hear from you. I've been following your return to NZ and am so pleased everything is going so well! You're even back to soap making again, which must be a good sign - all the best xx
