Arrow cards

 With a big shout out to Kris, from Queensland, who shared how to make the very popular and impressive Arrow Card style card and make it fit an A2 card - or normal card!


Here are the ones I made recently, but I'm sure I will be making many more, as this style of card does have an impact.



These two card use the same two papers - so two for one!



Because  I like to show the card off clearly, I add a stand to the back of the card so the point of the arrow is not on the surface the card is positioned on.



The stamps used are all Stampin Up! but the papers are not.

Wonderful News

The challenge at LIM this week is to use washi - how lucky for me that yesterday I tried CASEing a card I saw on Etsy which used a single wooden button on a small notecard.  I didn't use a wooden button, but a die I've had for ages, with WASHI on cardstock - - woo hoo! So I'm ready early today - Sunday morning here in Australia, with temps in the 30s! Cardstock cut 18cm x 9cm for a top fold 9 x 9cm (3.5" x 3.5") Stamp is a freebie from Cardmaking and Papercraft Issue 165 - love the fonts Die is by Simon Says Stamp - Partial Cut Flowers Button die is a set of 3 by Joy! Crafts Washi - unknown origin but printed cloth tape about 1.5 inches wide Below are a couple more cards I made using washi.
