Take flight
Today I am sharing with you a card I made to enter Scrapbook Boutique's January challenge. The photo below is the inspiration for the card, and the colours were to be yellow, green and white. Don't those cupcakes look yummy? My initial idea was to stack sandcastles, but unfortunately I don't have such a stamp, so I decided on butterflies. I'll enter my project, and we'll see how I go - this is the first time I have entered a Scrapbook Boutique Challenge, but hey, it's worth a try!
I have also made another Valentine's Day card, this time using a digital stamp from Sweet n' Sassy featuring the sweet mouse, Cocoa. I used the text on some designer paper, which seemed to go with my layout - and added some swirls to the top left side, to match with the printed swirls. I rather like the result.
Your card design is lovely I like the butterflies and the cute clouds. x
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Those butterflies are so vibrant and the sentiment perfect! CaUTE valentines mouse BTW!

ReplyDeleteI have to agree, the butterflies are just so cute. Beautiful card, I also like the embossed bottom half. I've just purchased some embossing folders and hope to use them soon. Your card has given me some wonderful ideas. Good luck in the challenge Ann. Helen (Lillyput Crafts)

ReplyDeleteHi Anne, I love your blog title!! My parents nickname for me is fanaccapants! Great job on your first card and like I said to a previous entry, the only way to know what you like and learn heaps ( there is some SERIOUSLY talented card makers out there) is to keep joining in challenges and maybe join a few together, like a sketch and a colour together. Looking forward to seeing many more of your lovely cards!! Thanks for joining in at Scrapbook Boutique this month x
