Outlawz Challenge

Today I am joining in the Outlawz challenge for the first time - their theme is Full Moon.  I have just purchased the city skyline die from MFT, so thought I would try a night sky above the city.  I'm not confident about my mixed media ability, but loved trying it.  There was a lot of shaping of the die cuts, shadowing, shading and colouring, and a lot more fun with smooches spritz and H2Os, so here is my submission.  As I admitted, I'm not confident of my outcome but I am pleased I attempted it.  I hope next week's theme is something more familiar!

Wow!  Where has the year gone already?  We will soon be caught up with the 'busyness' of Christmas, summer and holidays no doubt, so I'm happy to welcome you to this month's Blog Hop and Challenge at Scrapbook Boutique - let's have fun while we can! Scrapbook Boutique May Blog Hop and Challenge

Welcome to another blog hop and challenge at Scrapbook Boutique - this month it is based on this amazing mood board! You should have arrived here from  Angela's  lovely blog. What a beautiful collection of images, celebrating motherhood, new babies and all things girly! I just love to make 'new baby' cards, and was inspired by the little ballet shoes and dress to embellish my card with the tulle ribbon.  I also loved the metallic letters, but thought silver was a softer option than gold with pink, so kept to the silver dots on my pattern paper, as well as the silver twine.  I created my own background with a little strip of hearts from a Lawn Fawn set called Into the Woods.  Now for a close-up, to catch that sparkle!
