You are Giraffe-ic

Here is my card for the Sweet n' Sassy Digi Challenge - a card for a Child.  There are so many cute digi images that can be used for children's cards - birthday cards, invitations, and just those cards you need to say you are special!  I decided to make a toddler's birthday card, and thought the play on words in this sentiment might just appeal to a little one who is beginning to master language.  The image is oh so cute, and with fresh colours, it should please a big 2-year old.
I hope you feel like sharing your child's card with us - it is a great chance to break away from our usual styles, and after all, children will be pleased with whatever card they receive!  My own littlest grand-daughter says about mine:  'Oh Nanny is such a good maker - she keeps inside the lines' (in colouring!).  Who could ask for more?

    Your card made me smile, and I bet the lucky child who receives it will grin from ear to ear, too! The embossing and the bright colors are great.

Scrapbook Boutique May Blog Hop and Challenge

Welcome to another blog hop and challenge at Scrapbook Boutique - this month it is based on this amazing mood board! You should have arrived here from  Angela's  lovely blog. What a beautiful collection of images, celebrating motherhood, new babies and all things girly! I just love to make 'new baby' cards, and was inspired by the little ballet shoes and dress to embellish my card with the tulle ribbon.  I also loved the metallic letters, but thought silver was a softer option than gold with pink, so kept to the silver dots on my pattern paper, as well as the silver twine.  I created my own background with a little strip of hearts from a Lawn Fawn set called Into the Woods.  Now for a close-up, to catch that sparkle! Wow!  Where has the year gone already?  We will soon be caught up with the 'busyness' of Christmas, summer and holidays no doubt, so I'm happy to welcome you to this month's Blog Hop and Challenge at Scrapbook Boutique - let's have fun while we can!
