Wings and/or Wind in Blue and White

Today I'm joining the Unstampabelles on their 100th challenge.  Their link is below:

I made a card inspired by Connie Stewart yesterday, and once I'd chosen what my 'wings' were going to be - the butterfly - I realised I could use the same layout for this card using blue and white.  The paper I chose for my rosette butterfly is variated, so there is a little extra interest in the colour blue.

Hello cards are so useful at this time - I'm sending out quite a few as a way of keeping in touch - phone calls are better, but can take up quite a bit of the day:)

Wonderful News

The challenge at LIM this week is to use washi - how lucky for me that yesterday I tried CASEing a card I saw on Etsy which used a single wooden button on a small notecard.  I didn't use a wooden button, but a die I've had for ages, with WASHI on cardstock - - woo hoo! So I'm ready early today - Sunday morning here in Australia, with temps in the 30s! Cardstock cut 18cm x 9cm for a top fold 9 x 9cm (3.5" x 3.5") Stamp is a freebie from Cardmaking and Papercraft Issue 165 - love the fonts Die is by Simon Says Stamp - Partial Cut Flowers Button die is a set of 3 by Joy! Crafts Washi - unknown origin but printed cloth tape about 1.5 inches wide Below are a couple more cards I made using washi.
